Born February 27, 1941, in Charlotte, North Carolina, Danny was a loving Christian husband, father and grandfather. His happy place was at the beach spending time with family and friends. He retired from Concrete Supply with over 43 years of service. He loved his Arlington Church family and enjoyed the fellowship in the Dean White Sunday School Class. Danny’s hobbies included gardening, mechanics, John Deere Tractors, riding his golf cart, watching old westerns and his grandchildren.
Danny is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Ruth Linker Sasser; three children, Susan Clontz (Randy), Kenny Sasser, and Karen Flowe (Sammy); grandchildren, Stephen Moore (Cristy), Heather Presson (Jon), Cullen Sasser, and Daniel Barrett; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Homer and Minnie Belle Sasser, and his sister, Betty Jo Query.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until 12:45 pm Saturday, May 7, 2022, at Arlington Baptist Church Family Life Center, with a Celebration of Life to follow at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens.
