

Irma was active with St. Casimir’s PTA and Holy Cross in Riverside, New Jersey. She was a Den Mother with Boy Scouts of America, CYO Advisor to the cheerleaders at St. Casimir’s, and volunteered with the ladies Auxiliary at Zurbrugg Memorial Hospital. She also belonged to St. John Neumann’s 50 plus club, St. Gabriel’s Senior club and the Red Hats in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Irma worked for Joseph Davis in the office of Riverside's watch case and clover as a Department Manager until retirement in 1991.
Irma and Edmund loved taking bus trips to the Casinos in Atlantic City and going on Family Vacations.
Irma enjoyed cooking, baking, crocheting, gardening, and most of all her children, grandchildren & great grandchildren.
Irma was preceded in death by her husband, Edmund L. Kolwicz, her parents, Albert & Kathryn Malone and her brother, Albert Malone.
She is survived by her Son, Kenneth W. Kolwicz of Brigantine, New Jersey, Daughters, Kathleen M. Fischer (Bill) of Marlton, New Jersey and Kimberly M. Anderson (Todd) of Mint Hill, North Carolina. Proud Grandmother of Kyle Kolwicz (Alli), Karleigh Kolwicz, Ashley Crumbaugh (Cory), Andrew Anderson, Alexandra Dupuis (Nick). Great-Grandmother of Hunter, Holden, and Hadley Kolwicz, Gracie, and Paisley Crumbaugh, and Chase and Chloe Anderson.
She is also survived by her sisters, Charlotte Bryson, Dolores Cannuli and sister-in-law, Roseanne Malone plus many Nieces, Nephews and cousins.
We would like to extend our gratitude to Dr. Gambino, Brittney Williams, Administration, nurses and CNA’s at Asbury Rehabilitation (Aldersgate) also VIA Health Partners, Hospice in Charlotte, North Carolina.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, April 4, 2025 at St John Neumann Catholic Church, 8451 Idlewild Road, Charlotte, NC 28227. Reception immediately following in the Parish Hall.
