Isabel’s life was marked by a compassionate heart and a welcoming spirit that drew others close. Outgoing and fun loving, she offered warmth freely and made room for people to feel at home in her presence.
She found joy and connection in Wednesday morning fellowship with her church sisters, and in the quiet, steady comfort of crocheting—simple pleasures that reflected the care she so naturally extended to others.
Isabel is survived by her spouse, Rene Galarza; her children, Robert, Tracy, Marion and Alice; her grandchildren, William, Amanda, Jasmine, Marceline, D.J., Keith, Olivia, Tito and Jeremiah; numerous great-grandchildren; and her siblings, Mercedes Castillo, Elba Gerena and Joseph Santos.
She was predeceased by her parents, Benito Castillo and Leocadia Morales, and her brother, Edwin Santos.
