Joan, Scott and Dawn,
I'm heartbroken to hear of the passing of Jimmy. We thought so much of him and all of you. We have many memories of times spent together, especially Christmas each year.
He will always be in your heart and you will always have such fond memories of all the good times you had together.
May God wrap His loving arms around you as you grieve the loss of this wonderful man.
You have my deepest sympathy and love.

We were sorry to hear of your loss of Jim. We pray that God will console and strengthen you now and in the days ahead. You will certainly see him again but in the meantime, take refuge in your memories of the love and goodness he brought into your life and the lives of others. Obviously, he was a man who wisely embraced and served Christ.

Jack and I are so thankful that we have had the privilege of serving with Jim and Joan in the intercessory prayer ministry at Hickory Grove for several years. Just last Wednesday when I called them from the prayer room and shared a need, Jim assured me they would be praying . Later as I was talking with Joan, Jim yelled to Joan, "Ask her how Jack is doing."
Jim was a true brother in Christ. And he will surely be missed by his church family.

This message is for Dawn Owen, beloved daughter of Mr. Jim Owen. Dawn has been a great friend and co-worker at Bank of America for several years. We are deeply saddened by her loss and the loss felt by her family and friends. I did not have the pleasure of meeting Mr. Owen, but based on what I have read and on what I have witnessed from his daughter, Dawn, I know he must have been a very Godly and sweet man.

Praying that the God of all comfort will carry each of you during this time, with the reassurance that we have great hope - a hope that will not disappoint - that we will see him again one day. For he is experiencing unbelievable joy and bliss at this very moment with his Savior and Lord, even as we tarry and grieve. Blessings to each of you and may God comfort you in your sorrow.

" I have told you these things so that you will have peace of heart and mind, Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows, but cheer up, for I have overcome the world." John 16:33

"The LORD is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed." Psalm 34:18

“Mr. Jim” as I always called him was one of the sweetest people I know. We met at the Siskey YMCA about 3 years ago at the Parkinson Exercise Class. He always had to shake my hand and ask how I was doing. Sure am going to miss this special man. May you Rest In Peace, Mr. Jim. God bless your beautiful family!
