

He was all about family. He loved his wife dearly and she was his world. James was a wonderful father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
James loved being outdoors enjoying things such as fishing and gardening. His primary hobby was woodworking which became a great skill.
The relationship that James had with his Lord was important. He served as a trustee and usher for many years at Fellowship Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his brother Don Robinson.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Rachel Robinson; sons, Mike (Mitzi), and Jeff (Dawn) Robinson; daughter, Debbie (J.J) Gressling; brother, Wayne Miller; nine grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren. (Soon to be twelve).
A visitation with the family will be held from 1-2pm on Saturday, September 2, 2017 at Fellowship Baptist Church, 11416 Albemarle Road, Mint Hill, NC 28227. A funeral service will be at 2pm in the church with Pastor Steve Triplett officiating.
Burial will immediately follow the service in Sunset Memory Gardens in Mint Hill.
