She was the daughter of the late Rufus Biggers and Myrtle Ferguson. She graduated from Matthews School and went on to become a devoted mother and successful business owner for nearly 60 years.
Jane had a passion for her family, her church, and also for Holden Beach.
She is survived by her son, Richard Overcash (Jennifer); daughter, Donna Overcash ( Steve Ranslow); her son’s widow’s, Lou and Tina Overcash; 9 grandchildren;13 great grandchildren; special friends, Sherry and Gary Gorham. She leaves behind her precious pets, Yogi and Saco.
She was preceded in death by her husband Mack R. Overcash and sons, Rufus, Danny, and Daryl Overcash.
A visitation with the family will be held on Friday, March 18, 2016 from 6-8pm at McEwen Funeral Service, Mint Hill Chapel. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at 4:00pm in the Matthews Presbyterian Church Chapel in Matthews. Interment will follow in the Matthews Historical Cemetery. Donations may be made to Matthews Presbyterian Church Chapel Repair Fund, and to Novant Hospice.
