Jennifer Leigh "Jenny" Devlin, 57, of Charlotte, NC, passed away October 22, 2012, at her home due to surgery complications. She was born on December 7, 1954 in Lumberton, NC, and was the daughter of Shirley M. Byrd and the late Luther L. Byrd. She graduated from Lumberton High School in 1973 and continued her education at Central Piedmont Community College in Charlotte. She was employed at BCD Travel in Charlotte.
She is survived by her mother, Shirley M. Byrd of Charlotte; and her brother, Jeff Byrd of Houston, TX. In addition to her father, two brothers, Perry F. Byrd and Michael C. Byrd, preceded her in death.
A memorial service will be held 3:00 p.m. Saturday, October 27, at McEwen Funeral Service, Mint Hill Chapel, 7428 Matthews-Mint Hill Road, Mint Hill, NC. Her family will receive friends following the service in the chapel.
A daughter, sister, and friend with so much to give will be truly missed.
