Jerome Bolden

Mr. Jerome Bolden was born on December 21, 1952 to the late James and Hattie Bolden in Camden, SC; where he grew up with four siblings, including the late James Bolden Jr. He passed away on July 12, 2023 in Charlotte, NC at the tender age of 70.

Jerome graduated from Camden High School where he was a basketball player. He went on to earn a degree in Business Management from Palmer College. He later moved to Charlotte NC where he worked at Charlotte Douglas International Airport. His favorite past times were watching sports and old western films. His favorite football team was the Kansas City Chiefs. He also loved cooking but most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family.

Jerome is survived by his children, Courtney, Chandra Reid, Jerromye Richardson, and Jada; his 13 grandchildren; his 8 great-grandchildren; his sisters, Gwendolyn Cox, Mary Williams, Teresa Griffin; his 5 nieces; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, July 16, 2023 at McEwen Funeral Service-Mint Hill Chapel, 7428 Matthews-Mint Hill Road, Mint Hill, NC. A repass will follow the service.
