Joan E. Brown, 78, passed away on Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at White Oak Manor. She now joins her husband, William C. Brown, Jr. who predeceased her in 1994.
Joan was predeceased by her sisters; Mildred W., Doris L., Jackie S., Sandra T. and brother, Gene C. She is survived by her children; Cathy (Jimmy), Margaret (Alan), Chris (Debbie) and Linda (Robbie), 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren, sister; Joanne S., as well as many other family members.
The family would like to thank the staff at Summit Place at South Park and the staff at White Oak Manor for their loving care of Joan.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 12, 2013 from 1:00 to 2:00pm at Wilson Funeral Service 5301 Albemarle Rd. Charlotte, NC 28212. Funeral services will be at 2:00pm in the chapel. Interment will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. Online condolences may be left at www.mcewenminthillchapel.com
