I have fond memories of Joe from when I was a little boy and how my dad often spoke of you, I know you and my dad will now meet again! Theres still a lot of old war stories for you two to catch up on! REST in peace our good friend!

Joe Allen was a good man, a great neighbor and a kind friend to Mom after Dad passed away. He was there to support her and all of us throughout her long sickness and her passing. We were all very fond of Joe and will miss him when we are back visiting in the Deep Springs community. I am deeply sorry for your loss.

Joe and my dad (Jerry Carnes) were first cousins and were always close, particularly in their later years. There were 13 days difference in their ages and both were military men. Joe visited our family often and came to be loved by all of us. He was a fine man and a gentle man, one who we admired and respected. On behalf of our family, I send our deepest sympathy to you all.
