It's been a year - none of us can believe it.
John will be forever missed - good and fond memories will accompany us daily, for the rest of our lives. He will be forever close, no matter what, and he will continue to live in our three wonderful sons!

There aren't enough words to describe the pain that I have for all of you guys right now. I considered John to be like a brother to me as we had many laughs at Ocean Isle, your house and even our house in Greensboro. I will remember John as a man that loved to laugh and loved the beach. He also loved you guys with all of his heart. When I think back on the Ocean Isle days, I remember one pic of John and I standing together on the beach and we were sucking in our guts to be more studly. That's the sort of great memories that I have with John and all of your family. We love you guys and know that we will always be here for you whenever you need us. Love you all.
