

With deep love and gratitude, the family of Mrs. Juanita Helms Aldridge, age 98, announces her peaceful passing on January 3, 2026. A longtime resident of Concord, NC, and formerly of New Salem, NC, Juanita lived a long, full, and beautifully devoted life.
Born on December 30, 1927, Juanita was a proud graduate of New Salem School. She was known for being strong‑willed, loving, and caring, qualities that shaped every chapter of her life and every relationship she held dear.
A faithful member of Refinery Church, Juanita lived out her beliefs through kindness, service, and unwavering dedication to her family. She found joy in cooking for her loved ones, spending time with family, and enjoying the beach—simple pleasures that brought her great happiness.
Above all, Juanita will be remembered most for loving her family deeply and for the extraordinary care she gave her daughter, Theresa Blue, whom she cherished beyond measure. Her strength, tenderness, and steadfast devotion leave a legacy that will continue to inspire all who knew her.
She is survived by her daughter, Theresa Blue; grandchildren, Danette Eudy (Billy), Heather King (Jimmy), Shane Blue (Stephanie), and Mark Aldridge (Heather); and great grandchildren, Allison, Anna, Amber, Harlie, and Ali. She was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Aldridge; son, Doug Aldridge; parents, Floyd and Cornelia Helms; brothers, Onis Helms, Craven Helms, and Tom "TW" Helms; and sisters, Agnes Griffin, Roxie Thomas, Dorothy Phifer, and Gennie Watkins.
Juanita’s life was a testament to resilience, faith, and love. Her memory will forever remain a blessing.
A graveside service will be held at Sunset Memory Gardens, located at 8901 Lawyers Rd, Mint Hill, NC, 28227. The service is scheduled for January 8, 2026, at 3:00 pm.
