Leneard Dink Bevley Hagler

Leneard “Dink” Bevley Hagler, 80, of Charlotte, passed away Monday, March 19, 2012, at Presbyterian Hospital – Main. He was born May 23, 1931, in Mecklenburg County, to Fred and Mary (Simpson) Hagler.

Dink enjoyed hunting and fishing, gardening, but most of all, his family. He was a hard working, strong man who had a great sense of humor. He retired from Climate & Conditioning after working there for 17 years. He will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him. He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Tiriza Rushing, Annie Bell Rushing, Bleaker Burgiss, Valley Helms, Essie Penion, Mary Hagler, Ethel Hagler, Lealer Thrit, Lester Hagler, John Hagler, and Press Hagler.

Dink is survived by his daughters, Anne (Wayne) Burnette, Tonya (Mark) Seate; grandchildren, Brandi Silverthorne, Christopher Seate, Melissa Hudson, Joshua Seate, Brandon Burnette; and two great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 on Thursday, March 22, 2012, at McEwen Funeral Service – Mint Hill Chapel, 7428 Matthews-Mint Hill Road, Charlotte, NC 28227. Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 21, at the funeral home, from 7:00 – 9:00 pm. Interment will be held in Sunset Memory Gardens.
