Leon Arthur Robillard Jr., age 78, of Matthews, North Carolina, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 5th. Leon was born to Doris Duquette and Leon Robillard Sr. in Pascoag, Rhode Island, in 1945.
Leon grew up in Burrillville and graduated from Roger Williams University. Leon served honorably in Vietnam; upon returning from the war, Leon married Linda Boiani and had three children.
Leon is preceded in death by his mother and father; his wife, Linda Robillard; and his sister, Evelyn Coutu.
Leon is survived by his three children, Amy Austin (Joseph), Brian Robillard (Sarah), and Jennifer Crisco and (Aaron); his four grandchildren, William Austin, Caroline Austin, Cora Crisco, and Taylor Crisco; his sister, Janice Gallant; and many other loving extended family members.
A future date will be set to honor Leon’s life.
In lieu of cards or flowers, the family requests those wishing to honor Leon’s life to donate in his name to The U.S. Veterans of Foreign Wars.
