Mrs. Craft was born February 23, 1940 in Charlotte, North Carolina. She retired from working in the cafeteria at Northeast Middle School. Mrs. Craft enjoyed playing the piano, watching old Humphrey Bogart movies and listening to Frank Sinatra music. She loved being outdoors enjoying nature, birds and flowers. Mrs. Craft supported Shriners.
Mrs. Craft was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas "Dickie" Richard Craft; son, Thomas "Graylyn" Craft; and brother, Billy Edward Arant, Sr.
She is survived by her grandson, Travis Lee Sharpe Boatright; nephews, Billy Edward Arant, Jr. and Steven Micheal Arant; and niece, Tina Arant Lineberger.

A visitation with reception for Joanne will be held Sunday, April 7, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at McEwen Funeral Service-Mint Hill Chapel, 7428 Matthews-Mint Hill Road, Charlotte, NC 28227. A celebration of Joanne's life will immediately follow. Joanne will be laid to rest at Sunset Memory Gardens, 8901 Lawyers Road Mint Hill, NC 28227.
