

After a long and courageous battle with Alzheimer’s disease, her spirit is now at peace, whole again in God’s everlasting kingdom.
Born September 28, 1945, in Dunn, NC, to Glenn and Ida Newton, Ann lived a life marked by unwavering faith, kindness, and a deep love for family and friends.
A devoted follower of Christ, she was an active member of Calvary Church and Providence Baptist Church, where she found comfort in prayer, strength in scripture, and joy in lifting her voice in the choir. Ann’s warmth, infectious laughter, and compassionate heart touched everyone she met. Her legacy of love and grace will continue to shine through all who knew her.

Preceded in death by her son, Drew Squires, brother, Lawrence Newton, and parents, Glenn and Ida Newton
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to Ann’s closest and most loyal friends—Brenda Estep, Lynn Klingensmith, and Beth Laney—whose steadfast love and support meant so much during her time of need.
A private family service will be held.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America or VIA Health Partners Hospice.
