He was a Vietnam veteran and retired from Southeastern Freight Lines after 28 years of service. He was a very loving husband, father, and grandfather. He loved to fish and to watch the Panthers.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Janice Williams; sons, David Bowen and Lloyd Jackson Williams III (Stephanie); daughter Jennifer Williams Rodriquez (Michael); grandchildren Charlie, Michael, Austin, Makena, and Jaclyn.
A graveside service will be held at 2pm on Wednesday, November 4, 2015, in Sunset Memory Gardens. A reception will follow at the Steeple Chase Clubhouse.
In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to the Alzheimer’s Association.
