Louise was born on April 28,1937 in Franklin, NC. Once her father completed the Fontana Dam Project in her high school years, the family relocated to Greensboro. She graduated from High school and attended college.
Louise enjoyed visiting the Waynesville and Franklin areas for many years, celebrating special family events, especially the annual family reunions. While visiting Franklin she always loved to go ruby mining, finding unique stones and having them crafted into remarkable pieces of jewelry. She was truly a rare and precious jewel of her own. She was an excellent cook, and then later in life, had great pleasure by sharing meals with family and friends and frequenting restaurants.
Louise loved to garden... she grew many varieties of flowers and kept her yard immaculate. She also loved gospel music; especially the tunes from the quartet that her husband Max was a member of.
She loved to travel to gospel events around the United States. Louise had many cherished friends along the way, always having strong and supportive friends and a treasured church family.
Louise was a devout christian and a true testament to serving The Lord throughout her life. Her faith never wavered even during the difficult last couple of months. She was greatly supported and loved by her Trinity Fellowship Church family of Matthews, NC.
She enjoyed being the Director of The Old Timers Bible Study Group, always making sure they knew where they were going to eat. Louise took special interest in the youth and children of her church. Children always brought a smile to her face.
