She was born in Monroe, North Carolina, on September 4, 1944, to the late Reverend Lewis Wilson Williams and Aileen Hartis Williams. Lynda was a graduate of both Wingate and High Point University.
She enjoyed crossword puzzles, reading, watching college basketball and football. Her most favorite hobby was her plants-she had a green thumb and could grow anything.
She is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Ronald and David Williams; and sister, Margaret Williams Livingston.
She is survived by her daughter, Lauri Ann Norberg (Bryan); two grandchildren, Banks Grubbs and Jenna Jenkins; and her sister, Phyllis Sloan.
Services will be private to the family.
