Margo Jean Bryant

Margo was born in Barton, New York and attended school at the Owego Free Academy. She later lived at Camp Lejeune with her husband, Paul Sherwood and son, before returning to New York for a number of years. Margo and Paul later owned and operated Sherwood's Truck Plaza before making the move back to NC with their daughter, Victoria, to enjoy the warm weather. There, Margo worked for Wells Fargo for a number of years before retiring. Later in life, Margo took great joy in spending time with her family and especially caring for her grandson, Devin, as often as possible. Margo had an exuberance for life and always had a positive attitude. She never met a stranger and everyone who met her loved her. More recently, she enjoyed spending time with her companion, Joseph Renda. Margo’s honest advice and friendly spirit will be missed by all her family and friends.

Margo is preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Laraine Bryant; and her son, Gerry Sherwood.

She is survived by her daughter, Victoria Breece (Donnie); her daughter-in-law, Patricia Sherwood; her grandchildren, Devin Breece, Staci Yeager, Christopher Valentino (Erin), Sean Sherwood (Erin), Shane Sherwood, Marshall Sherwood; her great-grandchildren, Ella Yeager, Reid Catanzaro, Abigail Brown, and Bella Valentino; her grand-dogs, Avery and Murphy; and many other loving extended family members.

Services will be held privately at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Harris Hospice at Novant Presbyterian Main. They're attention to detail and care for Margo was exemplentiary.
