Martha Russell Angerman

Martha was born in Goldsboro, NC. She was a resident of Thompson's Children's Home in Charlotte, NC until she was to start high school. She returned to her hometown of Wilmington, NC and attended New Hanover High School. Upon graduation, she attended Mary Washington College in Virginia. She worked as a secretary for most of her working career, retiring from Hughes Aircraft. Martha was an outgoing person who enjoyed meeting new people; her friendly spirit will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Martha is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Joseph Angerman; and her son, Eddie Farr.

She is survived by her daughter, Marianne Alexander (Mark); her daughter-in-law, Tami Farr; her grandchildren, Sherie Smith, Reed Alexander (Beth), Jared Alexander, and Cameron Alexander; her sister, Mary Massey; and many other loving extended family members.

A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at St. Mary's Chapel, 1129 E 3rd St A, Charlotte, NC. A visitation will be held prior from 11:30 am to 12:00 pm.
