Mary Jane was an active member of Love's Chapel UMC of Stanfield. She was also a talented quilter and an exceptional seamstress making many of her own clothes.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alex and Zuleika (Zeke) Clemons of Philadelphia, PA and Tarpon Springs, Fl. and sister Janette Cuddy (Bob) of Coatesville, PA.
Surviving to cherish her memory are her husband of 52 years, John M. Burdette, Jr, son, Daniel Troxler (Dale), Grandchildren A.J. Troxler, Toby Troxler (Abby), Dakotah Troxler, and Beverly Troxler all of Stanfield. Niece Cindy Cuddy and nephew Jim Cuddy both of Coatesville, PA as well as several other nieces and nephews.
Services will be held in the sanctuary of Love's Chapel United Methodist Church 808 S. Love's Chapel Road, Stanfield, NC. on Monday, August 3 at 2 pm. The family will receive friends beginning at 12:30pm. Burial to take place immediately following the service at Sunset Memory Gardens, 8901 Lawyers Road, Mint Hill, NC.
Pallbearers are Mike Trowbridge, Chris Trowbridge, Sean Pickett, Ben Pickett, James Whaley and Jim Wade. Honorary Pallbearers are Kevin Barbee, Charles Harwood, Jim Whitley, Bill Russell, Mike Gentry, and Darrin McLary
The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to Heather Nance, Tiffany Morris and Lola Ortega of Via Health Partners and caregiver Sharon Lynch.
