Mary Wentz Frederick, 81, of Matthews, went to be with her Lord and Savior on October 8, 2012 at Presbyterian Hospital Matthews. She was born on March 13, 1931 in Greensboro, NC. Mary loved her church, family, and friends unconditionally.
Mary was predeceased by her first husband, Ernest Ray Wentz. Surviving are her loving husband, Dan Frederick, her devoted children; Steve (Angie) Wentz, Vicki (Mike) Lloyd and Tammy Poole, her grandchildren; Chancey (Kristen) Lloyd, Nicole (Rob) Bartlett, Shannon Jamison and Brooke (Jason) DiFucci, her great grandchildren; McKayla Jamison, Alyassa Paxton, Hayley Bartlett and Kaylen Lloyd.
The service to celebrate Mary’s life will be held Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at twelve noon at Hickory Grove Baptist Church Worship Center 6050 Hickory Grove Road Charlotte, NC 28215. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Charlotte Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be to Hickory Grove Baptist Children’s Ministry.
