Mary Valentine Mallard, 91, of Charlotte, North Carolina was called home to Heaven with her Lord and Saviour Jesus on Monday, October 30, 2023. She was born on February 14, 1932 to Harvey and Inez Thornton.
Mary was a longtime Charlottean and above all she loved her family. She was proud of her sons and adored her grand and great-grandchildren. Her loving personality and warm heart will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved husband of almost 50 years, Warren Mallard.
She is survived by her sons, David Mallard, Mike Mallard (Pam), Brian Mallard, and Ken Mallard (Natalie); her grandchildren, Brandon Mallard, Lauren Conrad (David), and Ashlyn Mallard; her great-grandsons, Grayson Conrad and Archer Conrad; and many other loving extended family members.
A Graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, November 11, 2023 at Sunset Memory Gardens, 8901 Lawyers Road, Mint Hill, North Carolina 28227.
