Michael Everett Beatty

Mike was born October 30, 1963 in Norwich, Connecticut. He was the son of Edward and the late Doris Faye Miller.

Mike was a retired over the road truck driver. He was a faithful member of both The Fincastle First Church of God in Bluefield, Va, and of Forest Hills Baptist Church in Monroe, NC. He loved the Lord and was not ashamed to share his testimony. Family and family events were very important to Mike, especially Saturday game night. He enjoyed the outdoors and watching the birds, deer, and squirrels as long as they weren't in his garden. Mike loved his wife ,Rhonda, with a passion that most people would be envious of. Where you saw Mike, Rhonda was pretty much always there with him and vice versa.

In addition to his mom he was preceded in death by one sister, Diane Abshire.

He leaves to cherish his memory; his loving wife Rhonda of the home, his daughter Kimmie Hill (Kenny) of Bluefield, WV; daughter Karen (Terry) of Horsepen, VA; and son Steven Whitehead of Tazewell, VA. Two Grandsons Daniel Vogel and Joseph Hill both of Bluefield, WV. Three Granddaughters Ashlyn Coburn (John) of Bluefield, VA; Alexis Vogel (Bradi Marrs) of Horsepen, VA and Mackenzie Hill of Bluefield WV, Three Great Grandchildren Bentley, Levi & Clair Coburn. Two brothers Steve and David Beatty. Two sisters Karen Beatty and Angel Miller. A host of nieces, nephews, and many many more family and close friends.

A memorial service will be held at the Fincastle First Church of God located at 303 Fincastle Lane, Bluefield, VA on Saturday, August 8, 2026 at 1 pm. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the service.
