Milton Lewis Hough

Milton was born in Matthews, NC on September 24, 1954, and grew up there attending Matthews Elementary, McClintock Jr. High, and East Mecklenburg High School. He later moved to Sharon, SC where he was the owner and operator of Fence Right fencing company for over 25 years until his retirement.

Milton especially loved his hobbies of working on old cars and motorcycles, but the most important things in his life were his beloved wife Polly, and his family.

Milton was preceded in death by his parents, the late Raymond Lewis Hough and Ruth Mullis Hough; his wife Polly McCall Jackson; his brothers Johnny, Bill, Vernon, Joe, and Boyce; and his sister Francis Hough Watson. He is survived by his sister Linda Hough Haynes, and several special in-laws, nieces, nephews, friends, and neighbors, his step sons Adam Cring and Cody Jackson, and his special furry friend Charlie.

Visitation will be on Saturday, August the 19th at McEwen Funeral Home in Mint Hill, NC from 10-11AM. A graveside service will immediately follow in Evergreen Cemetery. In leiu of flowers donations can be made in Milton’s name to Patrick Hospice House, 2275 India Hook Rd. Rock HIll, SC 29732.
