He was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina on January 4, 1954, son of the late Aldo and Maria Alberto. True to his Argentine-Sicilian roots he loved his family deeply, had a spirit of generosity, embodied resilience and an INTENSE passion for life.
His love of adventure drove him to push the limits from his affinity for fast cars, to joy rides on his Harley and fun filled boat days soaking up the sun. A grillmaster, he gathered friends and family over Argentine asado, wine and conversation.
He lived life boldly on his terms, a dreamer, risk-taker and entrepreneur. He is survived by his wife, Ana Maria Alberto, daughter, Nathalie Alberto, son, Alan Alberto and dog, Oliver.
The family is organizing a mass and celebration of life to be held at a later date with details to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a donation be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Oscar’s memory.
