Pam Hunt-Spradley

On August 30, 2014, Pam Hunt-Spradley, of Mint Hill, North Carolina, passed away after a brief illness. Pam was born July 6, 1946 in Baltimore, Maryland, the only child of the late Julian and Dorothy Wardell.

Pam graduated from Saverna Park High School, where she was on the school magazine staff and treasurer of Phi Kappa Omega sorority. Following graduation, she earned a degree in Nursing from Union Memorial Hospital. After practicing Nursing for a brief period, Pam moved to Charlotte, NC, where she embarked on her true avocation as a professional singer. She was a member of Actor’s Equity Association, the Union of Professional Actors and was a founding member of Actor’s Theatre of Charlotte. Although recognized for her many performances as an actor, Pam was also an accomplished songwriter, painter and artisan.

Pam is survived by her loving husband, Craig Spradley; her son, Aaron; her granddaughter, Sophia Marie; and her aunt, Joan.

A memorial will be held Saturday, September 13, 2014, at 10:00 am at the Actor’s Theatre of Charlotte located at 650 East Stonewall Street, Charlotte, North Carolina 28202.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
