

Born on July 27, 1945, Patricia was a longtime resident of North Carolina and formerly of Brooklyn, New York. She attended Bushwick High School and built a life centered on faith, family, perseverance, and love.
Patricia found great joy in reading the Bible and participating in Bible studies. Her faith was a guiding force throughout her life and provided strength through both joyful and challenging times. She loved spending time with her husband and family, creating photo albums that preserved treasured memories, cherishing lasting friendships, collecting dolls, and dancing whenever she had the opportunity.
Patricia will be remembered most for her resilience through life’s challenges, her unwavering faith, and the love she gave so freely to her family and friends. Despite the hardships she faced, she met every obstacle with courage, determination, and a true warrior spirit. Those who knew her will remember her as courageous, resilient, and loving.
Patricia is survived by her devoted husband, George Sottilo; her children, Donna, Audra, and Donald; her five grandchildren (Michael, Ashley, Alexa, Kylie, and Joey); and her four great‑grandchildren (Olive, Winnie, Maverick, and Alessia).
All services, including the visitation and memorial, will be held at McEwen Funeral Home. Patricia’s final resting place will be at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church Columbarium in Fort Mill, South Carolina.
Patricia’s legacy of faith, strength, and unconditional love will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
A visitation will be held at McEwen Funeral Service-Mint Hill Chapel, 7428 Matthews-Mint Hill Road, Charlotte, NC 28227 on Thursday, October 8, 2026, from 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm. Service will follow in the Chapel at 3:00pm.
