McMurray Family - Paul was a giant of a man. He loved his family and his church family. I loved his deep voice and comforting smile. He always asked about my family and wanted updates on the kids. I will deeply miss him, but feel so blessed to have known him.

Dear McMurray Family-
Paul was a giant of a man. He loved his family and his church family so much. I found his deep voice and warm smile so comforting. He always took an interest in my family and would ask for updates on the kids. I will deeply miss him, but feel richly blessed to have known him and to have called him my friend. Love to each of you,

Paul and I met for the first time when we worked together in the Greenville, S.C. Allstate Claims office. Ever since that time I have considered Paul to be not only a great business associate but a true and trusted friend. Over the more than 34 years we worked in various locations together we never had a cross word. I never heard anyone say anything bad about Paul. What a great guy to know. We know he is now in GOD"s hands. Charlie Flynn.

McMurrays... Today's service was beautiful! Such a great tribute to Paul! I had already composed in my mind what I was going to say about Paul playing God during the Marketplace Bible school years when Elinor spoke. I would add that I loved seeing the kids at Marketplace being astounded at hearing "God's voice!" He really had the best voice for it! Such a sweet man! "Blessed are they that die in the Lord!" Love and hugs to all!

JoAnn, I worked with Paul for my entire career at Allstate in the Columbia office. Paul always brought a sense of dignity and caring to everyone he touched. He had a way of making the big problems seem small, and everyone feel important. He was one of my favorite people and he will be missed by all that knew him.

JoAnne you probably don't know me, but Paul was one of my favorites and best supporters at Allstate for over 25 years. He was an outstanding human and friend. We will see him again someday and he will be free of pain. He is in Heaven smiling and waiting for us to join him someday.

Jo Ann and family,
I worked with Paulfor many years. More accurately, I considered Paul a teacher and mentor. He was the empitome of a "scholar and a gentleman". I was blessed to have had the opportunity to know, debate and laugh with him. His sense of humor was genuine and gifted. I still laugh when I remember some of his jokes. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
