Born in Loretto, PA on September 20, 1938, Pauline was the daughter of the late Elwood and Stella (Rudolph) Ivory and was the twelfth of fourteen children. She met the love of her life, the late John Noel Parrish, during their school years and both graduated from Cresson High School in Pennsylvania. They were married February 3,1958 and shared 57 wonderful years together until John’s passing in 2015.
Pauline was the heart of her family and was blessed with five children: Bonnie (Kevin) Seasely, Reba (Jeff) Thoreson, Janice (Walt) Pietrowski, Kim (Lee) Butler, and Ron (Stephanie) Parrish; 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, John; her parents, and her 13 siblings.
Pauline took great pride in her career in retail and customer service, retiring in 1990 to spend more time with her family. She loved visiting with her large extended family and was known for always bringing a deck of cards for a quick game. She enjoyed crosswords and jigsaw puzzles, watching birds in the yard, and keeping up with her daily soap operas. A longtime member of St. John Neumann Catholic Church, Pauline also enjoyed attending its many social events over the years.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Pauline’s honor to the American Heart Association and the Bright Focus Foundation.
