Robert "Bobby" Monroe Reid, 86, of Stanfield, NC was called home to be with his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ for an eternity of happiness in Heaven. He was born on November 19, 1936 to Hoyle and Pearl Reid.
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Betty Lou Allen.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 65 years, Hazel Reid; his sister, Helen Gladden; and many other loving extended family members.
A Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Sunday, November 5, 2023 at McEwen - Mint Hill Chapel, 7428 Matthews-Mint Hill Road, Mint Hill, NC. A Celebration of Bobby’s Life will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, November 6, 2023 at Eastern Hills Baptist Church, 4855 Albemarle Road, Charlotte, NC. Entombment will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens, 8901 Lawyers Road, Mint Hill, NC.
