Ruth worked as a bookkeeper for McCall Brothers, Washburn Graphics and Matthews Pottery. After retirement, she set up and ran the After School program at Mt. Harmony Baptist Church. She was a very committed Christian and a great teacher of the Bible.
Ruth is survived by her husband, Neal Lickliter; daughter, Lisa Baldwin; sons, Jeffery Lickliter and Joel Lickliter; brother, Thomas Brown Jr.; six grandchildren and one grandchild.
A visitation for Rosella will be held Saturday, March 26, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Mt. Harmony Baptist Church, 2817 Mt Harmony Church Road, Matthews, North Carolina 28105. A funeral service will occur Saturday, March 26, 2022 at 2:00 PM, 2817 Mt Harmony Church Road, Matthews, North Carolina 28105. A graveside service will occur Saturday, March 26, 2022 at 3:00 PM at Mt Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery, 2817 Mt Harmony Church Road, Matthews, North Carolina 28105.
