

Born September 13, 1956 in Salt Lake City, Utah, Sandy was a daughter of Arlin and Orel Bickmore. She was a graduate of Ricks College and received her associates degree in nursing. Sandy was a registered nurse and worked in hospitals in Idaho, Utah, Texas, and North Carolina, but she will be best remembered as an artist. She was passionate about all forms of art, including watercolors, lamp-work glass, quilts, weaving, spinning, and basketmaking. Sandy was a member of the Guild of Charlotte Artists and Watercolor Art Societies of Houston, Texas, and Nevada.
In addition to her parents, Sandy is survived by her husband, Stephen David Siepert, whom she married in December 1978; her son, Danny, and his wife, Sandy; and grandchildren, Benjamin and Miriam. Also surviving are her sister, Dawn Chaston and her husband, Mike; and brother, Jim Bickmore and his wife, Christina.
Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from 9:00 until 11:00 A.M. Thursday, October 24, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Matthews Ward Building, 13925 Thompson Road in Mint Hill, with a funeral service to follow at 11:00 A.M. Interment will be in Sharon Memorial Park.
