Sara Park Senter, 72, of Matthews, passed away on June 12, 2013 at Presbyterian Hospital. She was born on November 24, 1940 to the late Pruitt and Gladys Park. Sara grew up in Tupelo, MS and married Paul Kelly Senter. They lived in Vicksburg, MS where they were active in the Westminster Presbyterian Church and a local “Supper Club”. She spent most of her career in the legal community of Vicksburg. Once she relocated to Matthews, she was an active member of Christ Covenant Church where she enjoyed the Tuesday Night Prayer Group and the “Seniors Community”.
Sara is predeceased by her husband and brother, Joe P. Park. She is survived by her daughter, Kelly (Bob) Stevens and her grandchildren; Hannah, Harris and Ellie.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, June 15, 2013 at Christ Covenant Church 800 Fullwood Lane Matthews, NC 28105. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Covenant College “Families to Families” Scholarship Fund www.secure.covenant.edu.
