Sharon Lynn Lloyd Sustar

Mrs. Sustar, age 59, of Polkton, formerly of Matthews, died Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at her home. Born September 7, 1954 in Charlotte, she was the daughter of Ben Lloyd and Connie Williams Lloyd of Matthews. She graduated from Independence High School and attended both Central Piedmont Community College and University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Sharon was employed with Swift Adhesives for over 20 years. Later, she earned her real estate broker license and worked briefly for Coldwell Banker. Sharon enjoyed organic gardening, cooking and sewing.

In addition to her parents, survivors include her loving husband of 41 years, James Randy Sustar; sister, Becky (Ray) Hoyle of Midland; brothers, Mike (Vicki) Lloyd of Indian Trail and Jeff (Wanda) Lloyd of Lake Wylie; beloved nephews, Chancey Lloyd, Jason Lloyd, Justin Lloyd, Jake Lloyd, Jeremiah Hoyle and Luke Hoyle; grandmother, Ruth Williams of Matthews; mother-in-law, Frances Sustar; and brother-in-law, Tommy (Dianne) Sustar.

The memorial service to celebrate the life of Sharon Lynn Lloyd Sustar will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, October 12th at McEwen Funeral Service - Mint Hill Chapel with Reverend Dr. Buddy Herman Pigg, officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Interment will be private.
