Steve was born on November 14, 1948, in St. Petersburg, Florida, to First Sergeant William S. "Bill" and Margaret Bell.
Throughout his childhood, Steve lived in various places based on his father's military assignments. He was a 1967 graduate of Victor Valley Senior High School in Victorville, California and honorably served in the U.S. Army.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years and the love of his life, Shannon Morrison Bell.
Steve was known for his love of Rock Music. His collection of albums was a prized possession, with Queen and Pink Floyd being among his favorite groups, and he and Shannon attended countless concerts through the years. He also enjoyed playing poker with his lifelong friends, reading Stephen King novels, and was an avid Cowboys fan. He will be missed by all who knew him.
