Sylvia Dean Price Hardison

She was born on April 17, 1950, in Charlotte to Olin and Mabel Helms Price.

Sylvia was a beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister and Friend to all that knew her. Her journey leaves a legacy of strength, courage, family and love. She brought joy to so many through her smile and she will live on through the grandchildren that she took such pride in.

Survivors include her husband, Adam Meyer Hardison Jr, Charlotte; her children, Dawn (Johnny) Kirby Mint Hill, NC, and Michael Roth, Charlotte; five grandchildren, Jonathon, Ciera "PB" and Kirsten Kirby, and Luke and Jake Roth; 2 great grandchildren Riley and Gavin Kirby; two sisters Dorris Price Lisk, Mooresville,NC and Frances Price(Norman) Loftin, Pineville, NC; one brother, Charles "Bud"(Carolyn Jean) Price, Mooresville; and many niece and nephews.

Her family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 3, 2011, from 10 - 11 a.m. at the McEwen Funeral Service - Mint Hill Chapel, 7428 Matthews - Mint Hill Rd, Mint Hill, NC, followed by her memorial service. Pastor Tony Kirby will officiate.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
