Terry W. Mulford, of Mint Hill, North Carolina, received the deed and keys to his Heavenly home October 2nd, 2018, completing his final real estate transaction. He was born October 8, 1940, in Rochester, New York, and his formative years were spent fixing cars, playing football and ice skating on wedge pond in Winchester, Massachusetts.
Terry met his loving wife, Joyce, at Bryant College, and they married shortly after graduation in 1964. BF Goodrich moved his young family from New England to the Queen City in 1970, and in 1972, he embarked on a lifetime career as Real Estate Broker.
Terry was an active member of the Charlotte Board of Realtors, Optimist Club, Lions Club, and Charlotte Choral Society, as well as an early member of Pilgrim United Church of Christ. Terry had a deep love of music, and could frequently be found singing in his car as well as church choir. He especially enjoyed performing with the Chorale Society in the Singing Christmas Tree during the holiday season and at the Festival in the Park.
As a young widower, Terry was blessed to find love again with Gretchen Ledwell and they were married at Christmas in 1997.
Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Robert M. Mulford and Claudia T. Mulford of Winchester, Massachusetts; his loving wife of 30 years, Joyce Harriman Mulford of Charlotte, North Carolina; and sister, Roberta M. Walker of Smithfield, Rhode Island.
