Thomas E. Conder Sr.

Born on January 19, 1941, in Charlotte, Tom was a lifelong resident of the city he loved. A devoted fan of the Carolina Tarheels and the New York Yankees, he found joy in cheering on his teams and sharing that passion with family and friends.

Tom will be remembered for his unwavering kindness, generous spirit, and steadfast faith. His warm presence and signature big hugs left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him. He was a former member of University City United Methodist Church, where he nurtured his faith and built lasting relationships within the community.

He was predeceased by his loving wife Geraldine "Jeri" Conder and son, Thomas "Tommy" E. Conder, Jr.

Those surviving him are his daughter, Donna Billings and her husband, Ed. Grandchildren; Garrett Connell, Jake (Kaylen) Connell, Emma and Trey Conder and one great-granddaughter due in January.

Family will receive friends Friday, October 10, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at McEwen Funeral Service-Mint Hill Chapel, 7428 Matthews-Mint Hill Road, Mint Hill, NC 28227. Funeral service will follow at 11:00AM. Tom will be laid to rest at Sharon Memorial Park, 5716 Monroe Rd, Charlotte, NC 28212.
