Traci Renee Detter

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mrs. Traci P. Detter, age 60, of Mint Hill, North Carolina, who departed this life on August 3, 2025. Born on June 16, 1965, Traci was a beacon of warmth and generosity, whose loving spirit touched everyone fortunate enough to know her.

A proud graduate of Independence High School, Traci continued her education at Central Piedmont Community College, setting the foundation for a life filled with compassion, thoughtfulness, and quiet strength. She will forever be remembered as wonderful, loving, and caring—qualities she infused into every relationship and moment.

Traci found immense joy in spending time with her family, sharing laughter at the beach, peace in the mountains, and quiet reflection while fishing. Her deep love for her husband and sons, and her unwavering affection for her four-legged babies, Bennett and Luna, were hallmarks of her life.

Her presence was soothing, her smile radiant, and her heart unmatched in kindness. Traci’s soothing voice and nurturing soul brought comfort to all those around her. Her memory will live on in the stories shared by loved ones, in the warmth she gave so freely, and in the legacy of love she leaves behind.

Traci is survived by her husband, Tim Detter; sons, Jake and Harrison Detter; brother in law, Skip Detter; sister in law, Chris Detter; niece, Stacy Dobbs; and nephews, Danny and Corey Detter.

A visitation for Traci will be held Saturday, August 23, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at McEwen Funeral Service-Mint Hill Chapel, 7428 Matthews-Mint Hill Road, Mint Hill, North Carolina 28227.
