Steve, so sorry to hear of your dad passing.  You, Rhonda and all the family are in my thoughts and prayers.  I remember seeing them in church  and they always were so friendly to me and your dad  had a handsome smile.  Just a lovely couple. I know you will miss him and especially your mom will.  I will keep her in my thoughts and prayers in the days to come.  I know how hard it is to lose your spouse.

I will always remember the days on Lake Norman spent with Vernon, Boyd, and the family. I will cherish those memories forever. Vernon was one of a kind, and he will be missed by many. My deepest sympathies are with Boyd, Cindy, Steve, Rhonda, Spencer, and Annie 

I remember Vernon when he worked at Duke Power.  His office was right around the corner from mine in the Power Building. 
 He was always so nice.  I remember his smile.  May God comfort his family with many wonderful memories and the knowledge that he is with our Lord and my son, Matthew, in Heaven.

Boyd, Rosemary and I will never forget what a great time we had with you and Vernon on that Bahamas cruise. I remember that Cindy, Steve and David went with us to the airport. I guess they thought we were too old to go off like that all alone and needed some looking after. Vernon and I both got waterlogged trying to scuba dive but we both had a good laugh at each other. You and Rosemary were a real sight in those bathing suits. At the end of the cruise we all agreed that we all had a great time and we had " No Regrets ". Cindy,  I have several brief memories when he and your Mom came to visit you in Buck Hill @ Deerfield Plantation. He as a gentle man and a gentleman.  Prayers,  Dee


My deepest sympathies to your family. Continue to cherish the memories you shared until you can meet again under happier, more peaceful conditions. May the words at John 5:28, 29 comfort your heart and give you peace of mind. 

My prayers for strength and peace are for you, Steve, Cindy, Mrs. Lisk, Spencer and Annie. I have very fond memories of Mr. Lisk. I first met him when you and Steve were dating. He always had a big smile and a kind word. He always remembered me, even many many years later. Once, when we were at K&W with the boys, they were babies, Mr. Lisk was there and he was, as always, so nice and kind. He was immensely  proud and loved his family dearly. He will be so missed. Love you and Charlie, Liam, Walker and I will pray for you all.
