There are some lives that move quietly through the world, and yet leave behind a resonance so profound that silence itself seems altered in their absence. Vince Jensen Jr. was one such life—a man whose presence was not measured in noise, but in depth; not in spectacle, but in sincerity.
Born on December 1, 1990, Vince entered this world with a spirit that would come to be known for its rare combination of intellect, warmth, and unwavering loyalty. At just 35 years of age, his earthly journey came to a close on March 17, 2026—far too soon by any measure that attempts to weigh the fullness of a human life.
Educated at David W. Butler High School, graduating in 2009, and later attending UNC Charlotte, Vince carried with him not only knowledge, but a quiet hunger to understand, to grow, and to build something meaningful—within himself and for those he loved. He was intelligent not in the way that seeks to impress, but in the way that seeks to uplift. He was kind not as an act, but as a natural extension of who he was. And above all, he was loyal—a steady presence in a world that so often shifts.
A man of faith, Vince found grounding and purpose within All Saints Anglican Church, where his beliefs were not merely spoken but lived—reflected in his honesty, his compassion, and his enduring commitment to others. He set goals not only for himself, but for his family, and pursued them with a quiet determination that spoke louder than any declaration.
Music was one of the languages through which his soul spoke most freely. Whether playing guitar or singing, Vince found rhythm in life’s simplest and most profound moments. He sought balance and challenge through jiu-jitsu, found peace in hiking, and curiosity in reading. In all things, he lived with intention—loving deeply, giving freely, and striving always to become better.
To those who knew him, Vince will be remembered for his love of life itself. For his kindness and respect toward others. For the way he made people feel seen, valued, and understood. He was not merely present in the lives of others—he was invested in them.
He is survived by his spouse, Crystal Jensen, his mother, Raquel Jensen, his brother, Rodrigo dos Santos, his sister, Gabriela Jensen, his nephew, William Graves V. “Cinco”, and his soon to be born nephew, Vince Gabriel Graves. Though he leaves no children, his legacy lives on in the countless lives he touched—as a husband, son, brother, uncle, mentor, and a guiding presence to many. He was preceded in death by his father, Vince Jensen Sr., whose memory he carried with him.
There is a certain injustice in the brevity of a life like Vince’s. And yet, if one listens closely, one may hear that his story was never meant to be measured in years alone, but in the depth of his impact. Some lives are not long—but they are wide. They stretch across hearts, across time, across memory.
And so, while we mourn the man we have lost, we also honor the life he lived—intelligent, kind, loyal. A man who loved hard. A man who lived with purpose. A man who, even in departure, leaves behind a quiet, enduring light.
