So sorry for your loss, I know he will be missed by so many people that love him.  Our prayers are with your family at this time of such sorrow.

So very sorry for your loss Flowe family. I didn't know Doug that well, but he was one of my dad's closest friends. He spoke of him often, telling me about Doug's adventures and his cars, but mostly how he had a heart of gold and was a Godly man.I know his son Jimmy. We kinda grew up the same way, but didn't know it until I was in Jimmy's sunday school class and we started talking about our lives and how we grew up. There was always a car and a car show in the mix. I know Jimmy loved his daddy very much. I'm sure this is a hard time for the whole Flowe family, but know that Doug has made it to heaven and God has welcomed him with open arms. I love you guys very much. Please let Julie & I know if we can do anything for your family.

Mr. Flowes kind spirit and love for classic cars will be remembered by so many who knew him well. Cherish the many special moments you shared with him. He is resting in Gods memory. Please accept my sincere condolences.

Mark and I are so saddened to hear this. Doug and Shirley are both good people. I had the privilege if working with Doug for 14 yrs. He will be missed very much.  Shirley you and your family are all in our thoughts and prayers.

   Very saddened by the loss of such a good man. Few people can have a positive life changing impact on a person. Doug is such a person to me. May God keep and strengthen his family and friends.

As we dance through our lives, we typically start with a lullaby. It progresses quickly into nursery rhymes and waltzes or even ballets. There is more definition, such as beach music, (shagging), or be-bop or hard rock or love songs and then we return to the lullaby and even a Psalm.

Psalm 71:18 - Even when I am old and gray, do not forsake me, my God, till I declare your power to the next generation, your mighty acts to all who are to come. 

William Douglas Flowe has made his declaration to the next generation and it lives in his son Jimmy, whom I have had the priviledge to know well. I am sure that same spirit abounds throughout the family. 

For my part, God has blessed Mr. Flowe with a wonderful family and he is home now. We are blessed with only a very few real friends in this world, who stick closer than a brother, no matter what. I must be sure that Mr. Flowe was one to many, as his son Jimmy has been to me, (and I'm sure many others). 

Proverbs 22:6 says: "Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it." 

Mr. Flowe set this path and he has arrived and is with The WAY. He would to God that ALL of his family continue to follow as he has led. 

Press on Flowe family, your father is with the Lord and HE, the Lord is not finished with you yet! 

Genesis 31:49b - "May the Lord keep watch between you and me when we are away from each other. 

1 Cor. 4:12 - We work hard with our own hands. When we are cursed, we bless; when we are persecuted, we endure it. 

Exodus 10:9 - Moses answered, "We will go with our young and our old, with our sons and our daughters, and with our flocks and herds, because we are to celebrate a festival to the Lord."

1 John 3:2 - Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when Christ appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is. 

Rejoice, Mr. Flowe has led the way. He has arrived! 

May the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob; the God of your father and our God and Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit provide comfort and peace now in your loss. 

May He also provide strength and love and joy in the knowledge of where your father is. Your path has been made straight! 

For our part, the Hill family, (Jeff, Amy, Rachel and Zachary), we have been blessed by Mr. William Douglas Flowe and his offspring. 

Know that your father was and is loved by many, as all of you are.

Mom (Dezzerree Holt) and I both were saddened to hear of Doug's passing. Getting to know him these past 2 years was precious! We will miss his sweet smiles, conversations and tootsie pop sessions. We're asking God to bless you all through this and to shower each of you with the fondest of memories to heal your hearts.
