William Patrick LeGrand

A service to celebrate Patrick’s life will be held at McEwen Mint Hill Chapel. Visitation is from 6pm-8pm Monday evening and the service Tuesday will be at 1pm. Chaplain Hudson Belk (Patrick’s cousin) will be officiating. Interment will follow the service at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Patrick was born Sept. 4, 1975 in Charlotte. He was the successful owner of Mirror Image Exteriors Inc. From the time Patrick was little, he was never afraid to be the center of attention, from speaking at his grandfather’s 85th birthday to other special occasions. He always made people smile and he was so giving to others, never asking for anything in return. He had a contagious smile and a great sense of humor, so much so that we always thought his calling was to be a comedian.

Patrick is survived by his sons, William Payton and William Carson LeGrand; mother, Pat Belk Yandell and stepfather, Bob Yandell of Indian Trail NC; father, William “Billy” LeGrand of Charlotte; sisters, Lindsey Stewart Phillips and Holly Stewart of Indian Trail NC; brother, William Ryan LeGrand of Denver NC; as well as, nephews, Gavin and Jackson; and niece, Sydney; aunts, uncles, and devoted friends.

He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Dorothy C. Belk, grandfather William “Bill” LeGrand, and cousin, Sgt. Joshua Blaney.

Surviving grandparents are Maryanne LeGrand of Charlotte and Sidney Belk of Charlotte.
