Mike graduated from Garinger High School in Charlotte, NC. He was a Charlotte Firefighter for 26 years. He enjoyed fishing and going on trips to watch drag racing at various tracks around the country. He was a positive influence in many lives and he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Mike is survived by his daughters, Donna Stegall and Michelle Melton (Roger); his grandchildren, Samantha Melton and Summer Melton; his furry pekingese companion, Peanut; and many other loving extended family members.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, June 24, 2023 at Freedom Biker Church of Monroe, 3207 Wesley Chapel Stouts Road, Monroe, NC 28110.
