

Born on September 17, 1944, Bill lived a life marked by quiet strength, kindness, and deep devotion to those he loved. He was a graduate of Rock Hill High School and attended Appalachian State University. Throughout his life, Bill was known as a sweet, observant, and gentle man whose thoughtful presence brought comfort and stability to family and friends.
A faithful member of St. Paul Episcopal Church, Bill valued his faith and the community it provided. He found great joy in exploring the world through travel, pursuing adventures beneath the sea as an avid scuba diver, and spending countless hours enjoying his hobby of coin collecting.
While Bill appreciated many interests and experiences, nothing was more important to him than his family. He will be remembered most for the love he shared with those closest to him, the quiet support he offered without hesitation, and the example of kindness and humility he set throughout his life.
Bill's legacy lives on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. His gentle spirit, warm heart, and unwavering love for family will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
He is survived by his spouse, Susan Williams; children, Scott Travis Williams, and Katie Williams Ferreira; grandchildren, Sadie Williams, Dylan Ferreira, and Silvia Williams; and siblings, Mona Williams and David Williams.
