Born November 9, 1922 in Morgan County, KY, Mr. Wilson was a son of the late William Elvin Wilson and Ann Francis Rudd Wilson.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Loretta G. Wilson of Charlotte; his two sons, William Michael Wilson and David Allen Wilson (Ruth) of Charlotte; one step-daughter, Randy Sue Russell of Charlotte; his three grandchildren, Michele Wilson, Sean Wilson, and Cody Wilson, all of Charlotte; and his sister, Lillian Edwards of Felicity, Ohio.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Sunday at McEwen Funeral Service, Mint Hill Chapel, 7428 Matthews-Mint Hill Road. His funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 10, in the funeral home chapel. Entombment will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens Mausoleum.
