It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Adelaida Lara Navier, born in Santurce, Puerto Rico, in 1935. A dedicated woman of compassion and faith, she touched the lives of many throughout her remarkable journey.
Adelaida earned her RN degree from the University of Puerto Rico, dedicating herself to nursing in both Puerto Rico and Brooklyn, New York. Her unwavering commitment to healthcare was a testament to her caring nature and love for others.
After many years of devoted service, she relocated to Florida, choosing to be near her cherished grandchildren. Beyond her nursing career, Adelaida delved into the study of Theology, becoming an inspirational force in various ministries where she shared the word of God with passion and grace. Her active involvement in the Pentecostal church was a source of strength and community for many.
Four years ago, Adelaida made another move, this time to Cleveland, TN, to be close to her younger daughter. She became an integral part of Iglesia de Dios Comunidad de Esperanza, where she continued to spread love, faith, and hope to those around her.
Survived by her four loving children, Pedro Rafael Torres, Alfredo Cardwood, Annette Cardwood and Denise Bertini. Adelaida Lara Navier leaves behind a legacy of kindness, faith, and selfless dedication. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know and love her.
