She was the daughter of the late Auguste and Emma Theriault and was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Shalit, brother, Robert Theriault and sister, Rita Berube.
She graduated from St. Joseph High School and was a member of Saint Anne Church in Salem, MA.
Anita worked as a waitress at General Glover House in Swampscott, MA, and had also worked at the Sylvania Lighting Factory in Salem, MA.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Daniel Beaulieu and Helen L. Beaulieu, of Lynn, MA, Denise L. Godfrey, of Chico, CA, three grandchildren, Krystal Godfrey, Shawn Beaulieu, Maria Beaulieu, three siblings, Leonne Provencher, of Peabody, MA, William Theriault, Salem, MA, Lucille Dirubio, Paxton, MA, first husband, George H. Beaulieu, Jr., of Deerfield Beach, FL, and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
